Best Dental Gadget Gifts

Best Dental Gadget Gifts

One of the best things about the holidays is making your loved ones smile. This Christmas, give your family the gift of a healthy smile. Here are some of the best dental gadget gifts they’ll be excited to find under the tree.

Waterpik Flosser Tool

Waterpik flossers are a great investment towards a healthy smile. They utilize a pressurized stream of water, similar to the pressurized water tool that your dental hygienist may use to clean between your teeth and along your gum line during professional dental cleanings. Designed for at-home use, the Waterpik can be game changing for those hard to reach places between your back molars or if you have dental appliances like bridges, braces, or fixed retainers that can make your dental hygiene routine more complicated.

Electric Toothbrush with App

Electric toothbrushes are more than just motorized brushes now. As technology has advanced, many have been upgraded to include built-in timers, UV or blue light technology, ultrasonic vibrations, and the capability to sync with a smartphone app to provide real-time feedback and encouragement to promote healthy brushing habits.

Studies have shown that people who use an electric toothbrush experience fewer cavities, less likelihood of developing gum disease, and keep their natural teeth for longer when compared with those who use a traditional toothbrush. With all those benefits, it’s clear why so many reviewers name electric toothbrushes among the best dental gadget gifts.

UV or Blue Light Gadgets

UV and blue light technology have come a long way in recent years. Many gadgets are now available for everything from toothbrush sanitizing to teeth whitening systems that utilize this innovative technology. Talk with your dentist about the benefits of UV or blue light technology and which products are effective and safe.

Talking with Your Dentist

When you’re looking for the best dental gadget gifts for your loved ones, it can be helpful to make a list of the products you’re considering and talk to your dentist for recommendations. Your dentist will be happy to lend their expertise and experience to help you find the products that will make your loved ones smile the brightest.

Call our Imperial Dental Office, to make an appointment with a dentist who may be able to help you find out more about this topic, and improve your oral health.

Covid 19

We have your health and the quality of air you breathe as our TOP priority.

1) All staff members will wear full protective equipment, i.e. gowns, head covers, masks, face shields, gloves.

2) Every patient must complete a special COVID-19 survey and confirm that they are symptom-free before receiving an appointment.

3) Hypochlorous Acid treatment of rooms between patients (more effective than bleach and SAFE (the human body makes this chemical to combat microbes!)

4) Barrier wrapping in all treatment rooms

5) Surgically Clean Air throughout office turning over the room air every few minutes!

6) HVAC in the office with UVC Light Treatment (powerful disinfectant known to kill microbes), UVC light treatment in treatment room

7) Patients are welcome to sit in our socially distanced waiting room, or in their car. Whatever they are the most comfortable with.

8) NO EXTRA PEOPLE CAN COME WITH THE PATIENT UNLESS THE PATIENT REQUIRES SPECIAL CARE. Those people will be asked to wait outside until they are needed.

With these special efforts we can feel confident we are doing out utmost to protect the health of our staff and patients
